故事發(fā)生在唐朝，衣食無憂的生活讓青樓成為了男人們茶余飯后經常光顧的場所。五姑娘（翁虹 飾）是“嘗樂坊”的當家，她和搭檔傅剛（鄭則仕 飾）一起，利用兩人的聰明才智，將嘗樂坊經營得風生水起。傅剛一直鐘情于五姑娘，但即便知道傅剛的深情，但五姑娘依舊對他保持著若即若離的距離。阿逸（劉德之 飾）是傅剛的徒弟，從小就跟隨著師傅出入各式各樣的燈紅酒綠之中。阿逸深愛著雛妓小菁（程雪雁 飾），可惜兩人身份和地位懸殊，一段兩情相悅的戀情充滿了磨難與波折。色魔（徐錦江 飾）的出現(xiàn)讓坊間女子人人自危，倒霉的小菁偏偏被其盯上，所幸五姑娘出手相救才幸免于難，然而，五姑娘自己就沒有這么好的運氣了。
